Micro voussoirs within macro voussoirs
This signifier is present when the main subdivision logic creates a tiling of main shapes which, although theoretically possible to be built from one element, are each composed of other smaller voussoirs. In the example in Figure 93 the roof is built of hexagonal modules composed each of them of six precompressed voussoirs. The hexagonal module is a stereotomic system in itself, with its macro geometry dependent on the surface angles of the micro geometry of the individual trapezoidal blocks.
