Temporary
A temporary centering is a structure or device built for the purpose of holding the voussoirs in place in the course of construction, and is then removed, not making parto of the final built work. While most temporary centering approaches have historically relied in wooden structures built below the final stereotomic structure so that voussoirs rest on their intrados, other strategies have been verified. The scope of these temporary structures or strategies is studied under this category.
