Per-Voussoir
A centering per-voussoir is made of pieces which relate univocally to each voussoir. This method produces a group of topologically similar elements that, joined together, exhibits a two dimensional grid similar to the stereotomic tessellation (in a homothetic or dual geometry fashion) and recreates the intrados surface on its top end. The tight relation of this system to the stereotomic tessellation topology guarantees that every voussoir is properly supported and allows for a systematic design of the centering pieces and its production. However, the uncritical reproduction of every voussoir might lead to material waste, which should be evaluated with its design.
